What’s New for Reactive Dogs in 2026 🐾✨

Dog parents want more collaboration than ever — here’s how I’m evolving to meet that need.
I’ve heard a lot of people say they’re relieved to see 2025 in the rearview mirror. It was a tough year for many. No matter what the past twelve months brought, I always step into a new year with optimism, fresh energy, and some big goals — and 2026 is no exception.
This year, Creature Good Dog Training is evolving. I’m refining and expanding my services to match what clients are craving most: more involvement, more coaching, more partnership, and more support in understanding their dog on a deeper level.

Part of this shift comes from what I’ve seen (and researched) over time: more people than ever view their dog as a true member of the family — just like a human child. That means dog parents want to participate more actively in the training process. The interest in “drop-off” models like day training and board-and-train is decreasing, while demand for collaborative coaching is rising. People want a guide, not a replacement.
Alongside this desire for partnership is a growing interest in relationship-building and emotional wellness. Clients want to understand their dog, make choices they feel good about, and build daily habits that truly support behavior change. And since so many of you have asked for more video content, 2026 will bring a stronger social media presence as well — more education, more demonstration, more accessible support.

I genuinely believe 2026 is going to be an incredible year for reactive dogs and the people who love them.
Here’s a look at what’s coming:
⭐ Updated & Expanded Services for 2026
Reactive Dog Program: CHARM School for Reactive Dogs - A step-by-step coaching and training program designed to build calm, confidence, and better walks together.
Mini Program with Big Results - A new 2-session offering for folks who want to try training or address a single, focused behavior challenge.
Training Intensive - A one-session deep dive with follow-up support — perfect for immediate relief and a solid path forward.
Client-Only Private Newsletter - An exclusive resource for active clients and alumni to maintain momentum and continue the learning journey.
Low-Cost DIY Classes & Workshops - Topic-focused classes and workshops that help you solve behavior challenges on your own with clear, supportive guidance
Low-Cost Membership Program - A monthly membership designed to give you ongoing tools, accountability, and support — so your dog’s behavior becomes the talk of the neighborhood (in the best way!).
Brand-New Free Resources Page - More accessible education for anyone needing help getting started.

Basically… there’s something for every reactive dog parent, whether you’re taking your very first step or you’re ready for a major transformation.
I’m keeping things simple today since we're all still in the midst of celebrating. I'm relaxing with my family and Archie and soaking in the hope that a new year always brings.
🥂Cheers to a calmer, brighter, more connected 2026 for you and your dog. 🐾✨
Stay tuned as I roll out all of the above throughout the year.
