QUESTION: Is it ok if we’ve worked with other trainers before? Of course. Many of our clients have worked with other trainers previously. Whether you've worked with another trainer on different behaviors or worked with one who wasn't able to help you reach your goals, we can help!

QUESTION: Do you help with problem behaviors like lunging & barking on leash and jumping on people? Yes! QUESTION: Do you only work with rescue dogs? I got my dog from a breeder and want to work with you. Nope! We'll work with your dog regardless of where you got them (breeder, rescue, friend, side of the road). We talk a lot about rescue dogs because we want to help them get loving permanent homes but we do not discriminate against dogs obtained through a breeder.

QUESTION: What are training sessions like? Depending on what we are working on, each session will be slightly different. In general, sessions include a check-in session at the beginning to see how your week went, demonstration and practice of the new or ongoing behavior we're focusing on that week and a wrap up time at the end for questions and fieldwork. All programs include unlimited between session support as well so you feel fully supported throughout your program.

QUESTION: What’s included in your training programs? That depends on the program you select and your training goals. QUESTION: If we use a prong or e-collar on our dog, will you still work with us? Yes, if you agree to suspend use of these devices while we work together and understand that we will work with you toward the goal of ceasing their use entirely. We are happy to discuss with you why we are against the use of these tools and how you can solve the issue (pulling, recall, etc.) even better without them. Please schedule a free consultation with us through the links on every page of this website so you can begin to move away from using such equipment.

QUESTION: Training seems expensive, do you offer a money back guarantee if I'm not satisfied? Nope! Dog training is an investment in a lifetime of good behavior and wellness for your dog. If you break down our fees over the lifetime of your dog, you're really getting a bargain. We don't offer a money back guarantee because much of your success in the program is on you. Think of it like this: if you hire a personal trainer, they will share their expertise and create a workout plan for you, support you and offer feedback, etc., but it's you that has to actually follow the workout plan each week in order to get the results you want. Dog training is similar in that we create the plan, provide demonstrations, resources, feedback, troubleshooting, etc., based on your goals, but you are the one putting in the practice with your dog every day. We'll be there every step of the way helping, but you and your dog are the stars of the show.
